Is cricket overshadowed all other sports in india?

Cricket is a prominent sports in Indian Subcontinent.  Without that the story of India seems to be incomplete.  But this question will always arises that, has cricket overshadowed the other sports?  And the answer is yes some of the points had proved :- the public outlook for cricket is always positive,  cricketers in India is consider as  God.  Public love them a lot,  BCCI invest heavily to promote cricket, media is also obsessed the game. All these have proved yes the cricket is a overrated sports in india.
